Eric Jerardi’s forthcoming album, The Game, is the subject of a new Houston Press feature by music writer Bob Ruggiero.
Exploring the music and the creative process behind the record, Ruggiero describes Jerardi’s style as:

The Game began with a songwriting challenge: a new prompt each week, a deadline, and the commitment to keep creating.
For the Dayton, Ohio singer, guitarist and songwriter, that structure opened the door to a different kind of record. Twelve weeks of assignments became twelve songs, bringing together blues-rock guitar, soulful vocals and the personal connection at the heart of Eric’s music.
Hear “Setting Sun” and “Thorns & Roses”
The first two singles, “Setting Sun” and “Thorns & Roses,” are available now, giving listeners an introduction to the album ahead of its October 30, 2026 release.
The rollout has already included Apple Music’s New in Rock playlist support for both singles, a Vintage Guitar premiere for the “Setting Sun” video, and a Rock & Blues Muse premiere for “Thorns & Roses.”
