Singer and guitarist Eric Jerardi rocks the blues on this earthy collection of originals. He shows his South Chicago tones on a stomping “Dig Down Deep” and taps into his inner Robin Trower on a murky “Light Danced Through Your Window”. His guitar sears on the easy blueser “Setting Sun” and is slow and gruff with similar voice on “Unexpected Connections”. The backing team is spot on and live feeling, making you feel you’re right in the juke joint.
