Eric Jerardi’s “Setting Sun” Makes a Strong First-Week Radio Debut

Eric Jerardi’s new single, “Setting Sun,” is officially on the radio—and its first week has already delivered encouraging momentum across Americana, AAA, blues, community, and college radio.

The week-one campaign report shows 13 total station adds, including one medium rotation and six light rotations, with another 10 stations currently reviewing the single for possible airplay.

Even more exciting, “Setting Sun” is already crossing borders. Confirmed rotation spans the United States, England, and Poland, while additional radio support is developing in Ireland and Canada.

Worldwide Airplay Begins

Internationally, Pro-Radio PL in Warsaw, Poland, has placed “Setting Sun” into medium rotation. In England, the single is receiving light rotation from Blues Radio UK / Blues@ and Prospect Radio in London.

The international campaign is continuing to expand, with Carlow FM in Ireland adding the record and CJSF in Burnaby, British Columbia, currently reviewing it.

From Warsaw to London—and from New York and Massachusetts to Ohio—“Setting Sun” is beginning to find listeners around the world.

Americana and AAA Radio Support

Americana and AAA radio remain essential places for independent artists to connect with listeners who actively search for meaningful songs, real musicianship, and music that lives beyond narrow commercial formats.

One of the strongest early placements is WMVY on Martha’s Vineyard, where “Setting Sun” is already receiving light rotation. The station’s adventurous mix of singer-songwriters, roots music, rock, blues, and independent releases makes it an especially natural home for Eric’s music.

Additional week-one support includes adds from:

  • KFCF — Fresno, California

  • KRZA — Alamosa, Colorado

  • Carlow FM — Carlow, Ireland

Several important Americana, public, and AAA-oriented stations are also considering the single, including KSUT in Colorado and WOCM in Ocean City, Maryland.

These stations play an important role in introducing listeners to artists based on the strength of the music—not simply the size of a marketing campaign.

College Radio Discovers “Setting Sun”

College radio has also become a major part of the song’s early story.

WUDR in Dayton, Ohio, is already showing light rotation, while WGSU in Geneseo, New York; WSUP in Platteville, Wisconsin; and WVMW in Scranton, Pennsylvania have added the single.

The next wave of college and campus stations reviewing “Setting Sun” includes:

CJSF, KCSC, KNDS, KTCU, WFCF, WVAU, and WZIS.

College radio matters because it reaches adventurous listeners, student programmers, local music communities, and emerging tastemakers. These stations often provide artists with their first interviews, specialty-show features, live sessions, and long-term relationships in new markets.

Blues and Independent Radio Join the Campaign

Eric’s blues-rock foundation is also connecting with specialized stations.

Blues Music Fan Radio in New York and Blues Radio UK are both reporting light rotation. Birch Street Radio in Northern New Jersey is among the additional independent outlets reviewing the track.

That combination of blues, Americana, AAA, community, and college support gives “Setting Sun” an opportunity to reach several different audiences while remaining true to Eric’s musical identity.

Help Keep the Momentum Growing

Week one is only the beginning.

Listeners can help “Setting Sun” continue to grow by requesting it from local Americana, AAA, blues, and college-radio programs. Sharing station posts, tagging DJs, saving the song, adding it to playlists, and sending it to friends all help demonstrate that listeners are responding.

A huge thank-you goes to every programmer, music director, DJ, station, and listener who has supported the record during its first week.
